British Victorian Era 1827 Navy Officers Sword, Webb, London

Original era manufacture. Polished steel, fighting weight, 29 inch blade with etched panels on each side. C.Webb & Co name on the reverse ricasso, one source lists them active between 1824-1895. The blade is clean but does show some scattered areas of surface corrosion and spotting. Gilded brass guard, short side folds down, lion head pommel. White fishskin grip with straight copper wire binding. Sound leather scabbard, however the lower suspension ring is missing, upper ring and throat are loose.
