1920s-1930s Mercedes 2L Fuel Canister

Vintage 1920s or 1930s Mercedes (yes, that Mercedes) 2L'Salzkottener Spezialgefäß', which is a safety canister for flammable liquids.Its a little beat up, dented and rusty, and the top cap is missing. Still a rare thing to find and not something I see often - especially with the Mercedes branding.
