1924 British Empire Exhibition Wembley souvenir enamel badge

A scarce unusual 'British Empire Exhibition Wembley souvenir enamel pin badge' gilt brass example depicting the official 'Wembley Lion' symbol within a voided red enamel horseshoe title surround, joined at the base with white enamel 'Wembley 1924. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Height approx 27mm.
