US 1860s Image of Boy and Forage Cap

This is a 1/6 plate tintype with a half case, mat, glass and preserver.This image is of a little boy seated holding his forage cap.He has a very sad little face. It apprears he either has his legs crossed and the second foot is obscured by the hat or he is missing a leg.
