This is a stunning WW2 British Royal Artillery battledress set which belonged to a BQMS Fisher, this set came directly from the family, The battledress set is a Canadian set which was preferred to Senior NCO'S in the British Army during WW2 to the British Battle dress, The jacket is dated 1943 and the trousers look to be dated either 1942 or 1943, the jacket can be seen in the picture with one of the insignias now removed but still in his possession, He was in the Royal Artillery and was part of 96th/17th Regiment during WW2 from what looks like 1940 to 1946, this set also comes with pictures of him, books, documents like his Release book Class A, National service act grade card, National identity card, his Army book 64 service and pay book, Army pray book, his medal award box and ribbons, no medals unfortunately, letters, telegrams, a picture of his brother, exercise books, and the History of the 17th Light AA Regiment which has the picture of him in the battledress plus more.
