GVR WW1 Military Cross & 1914-15 trio with M.I.D oakleavesTo- LIEUT / MAJOR.E.C.HARRISON.R.G.AEdward Cayley Harrison was born in Kensington 1-2-1889 & was a cadet corporal with the Oxford university O.T.C when he was commissioned in to the 1st London R.G.A.TF 27-11-1911. He first landed in France 15-3-1915 & was twice M.I.D for services in France 4-1-1917 & 11-12-1917. He was awarded the Military Cross in the London gazette 1-1-1919. He settled in Kenya in 1920 and was recalled to the General list in 1939. He was initially a soldier settler in Kenya but went on to become a solicitor with Hamilton, Harrison & Matthews in 1932. He died in Nairobi 8-9-1954 & is buried in the Nairobi city park cemetery.NEF & Complete with MIC & London gazette details
