He served with the regiment during the Boer war of 1899-1902 & was posted to the reserve in 1905. He was recalled for service in WW1 & first landed in France 3-11-1914. He was wounded at Arras in 1917 & again in 1918 & was discharged with a silver war badge No-B344454 in 1919.GVF or better with eks to the QSA & complete with research details including MIC, medal rolls, silver war badge roll, copy service papers & biographical research details
