British WWI Brass Memorial Plaque, Dorsetshire Rgt., KIA Egypt 1917

Original period manufacture. Large brass plaque often referred to by collectors as the Death Penny. This one is named to Harold Willoughby Shorto, who served in the Dorsetshire Regiment in Egypt, being killed in action in November 1917.
