US WWII 1905/42 16' Bayonet UFH, Union Fork & Hoe 1942

Original period manufacture. Standard WWII 16 inch blade bayonet, made by United Fork & Hoe, and so marked UFH. Blade date of 1942 partially obscured by the bottom of the cross guard. Mix of steel and parkerized blade finish, no corrosion issues. Original brown plastic grips, the obverse grip plate is cracked by the screw. Correct style green plastic scabbard, with Navy markings on the throat, USN MK 1. The tip of the scabbard is distorted as shown.
