Heer Waffenrock for Unteroffizier Schönfeld in Infanterie Regiment 106. The Waffenrock retains its original insignia and three period sewn award loops. The Waffenrock is in very good lightly worn condition.Infanterie Regiment 106 was stationed in positions along the Westwall in 1939 and was a part of the 15 Infanterie Division. It was then sent to Belgium, Luxembourg and France. In 1941 it went to the eastern front. In 1942 it was sent to France for training in Bordeaux. It was then tasked with coast guarding duties until it was pulled to the east again in 1943. It stayed on the eastern front until going into Russian captivity near Brünn.
