US IW-SAW Era M1899 Pith Helmet, Horstmann Contract, Artillery

Original period manufacture. White washed cork pith helmet with brass enlisted spike & base, with an artillery plate. Complete with the correct chinstrap, full sweatband with Horstmann contract stamp. Size marked 7 1/8. Fraying to the green cotton visor lining as shown. The cork body is not crushed or broken, very clean and presentable.
