Allgemeine SS breeches

Original black wool breeches, attributed to the Allgemeine SS, in outstanding unworn condition. The trousers are complete with all buttons present and retain their original ankle ties at the cuffs. The black wool fabric remains strong and clean, with no visible damage or moth holes, making this a very attractive display piece.Interestingly, the trousers are fitted with typical DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) buttons, a feature sometimes encountered on period uniforms due to wartime reuse or replacement. This detail has also been observed on other items such as Panzer wrappers, suggesting either period field replacement or possible reuse of DAF-issued garments for SS purposes. Despite this, the interior clearly shows typical SS markings, including a 'VA 1938' stamp and correct size markings in the waistband.The original SS clothing label appears to have been removed from inside the pocket, but the construction, markings, and overall appearance strongly support period authenticity. Whether originally SS-issued or a DAF garment later adapted, this remains a highly displayable and original Third Reich-era pair of black breeches, ideal for an Allgemeine SS mannequin setup.
