German Luftschutz Model 1938 Helmet

German Luftschutz Model 1938 Helmet-This very nice example has a dark blue finish that remains 90% intact. This is a three piece, beaded example. The decal is in good shape, remaining 80% intact with minor toning. Each side has a pair of salt and pepper shaker ventilation holes. The liner is brown leather and in good overall condition. There is some wear and scuffing with some minor discoloration and a small tear or two. The rear skirt has markings that include the size, 56 and script that indicates that this meets the proper specifications. The rear skirt is also stamped 'Rl 2 38/28'. Also seen is a name scratched in this area. The original wide chinstrap is present as well. An interesting example!
