WWII German Model 1940 Police Double Decal Combat Helmet

WWII German Model 1940 Police Double Decal Combat Helmet-This combat example has a dark field grey finish that remains mostly intact. There are some paint splotches around the exterior. The left side has a bordered police decal that check in at 85% intact with toning. The right side has a party shield that is 80% intact. Inside is a brown leather, size stamped 57 liner that is in very good condition. It is fairly soft and fairly clean with minor scuffing. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is dated 1939, maker marked and size stamped 64/56. The rear skirt of the interior is stamped Q 64 indicating production by Quist in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number DN 362. There are little chunks of the chinstrap present. There is a name written in large script onto the liner. A very good example overall!
