Description
Heer Waffenrock parade tunic with golden-yellow piping, indicating cavalry or reconnaissance (AufklΓ€rer) troops. This is an officer's example in the rank of Oberleutnant, which is notably harder to find compared to enlisted versions. The tunic retains all original period-applied insignia, including collar tabs, shoulder boards, and breast eagle. The front shows some light moth damage, but overall the tunic remains in honest, untouched condition with a nice period look. On the chest are two sets of loops for awards and one additional set for a ribbon bar or medal bar. Two original buttons that came loose from the front are still present and attached to a safety pin, ready to be re-sewn.The interior is in good condition without a tailor label, but does show a faint and difficult-to-read unit marking. The back displays less wear compared to the front. Overall, a fully original officer's Waffenrock with desirable branch color, priced accordingly due to the visible wearβplease refer to the photos for full condition details.
