Denmark : WW2 (?) Army Officer's M23 Rigid-pattern Forage-cap.

Khaki-fawn cloth M23 field-cap heavily decorated with silver-fawn brocade & braid with a silver metal and red cloth national cockade on the front. The inside has a brown leather sweatband and is lined with beige silk which has frayed slightly in the forehead area and there is some sweat-staining to the lining. The lining bears the prestigious uniform and hat manufacturers details and royal appointment arms. Maker is C.L.Seifert of Copenhagen. The lining has a protective celluloid cover. Very good to excellent condition and quite scarce.
