Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Tokyo Hourglass Seisakusho with Leather Frog

Original era manufacture. Hooked guard, flat birdhead pommel, contoured wood grips. Nice blue finish to the blade, clear markings on the ricasso. Dark steel patina to the guard and pommel, with a light rough texture from old surface corrosion. The scabbard has several shallow dents in its surface but retains good color with some light surface corrosion. Sound leather frog with tight stitching. Normal service use and age.
