British 'Commando' Green Beret – Dated 1944

Original WWII British 'Commando' Green Beret. A textbook example of the famous and very hard-to-find green Commando beret. This example was manufactured bySupakManufacturingCo Ltd.size6 3/8,dated1944, the last '4' is not well stamped; it looks more like a '1,' but it is actually a '4.It shows light service wear with only scattered moth tracking on the backside (barely visible). The interior bears the War Department stamp with the letter code M, indicating a 1944 issue date. The beret has two holes for a cap badge. A very nice beret!
