British Army Water Bucket

Original WWII British Army Water Bucket in unused condition. This British army canvas water bucket is showing just storage marks, no maker stamp visible. Made of a blue-green canvas it has rope handle on the top which secures to the bucket through a pair of heavy duty sewn fastenings. The fibres in the fabric swelled when wet, preventing further water from penetrating through the fabric. It was lightweight, didn't get squashed of dented like a metal bucket and could be folded flat so it didn't take up much room.A great Canadian or British display item.
