Original WWII British Brigadier/Colonel's Service Dress cap. A very good British officers' Service Dress cap, suitable for the rank of Brigadier or Colonel. Features a high-quality bullion insignia on the front, with a red band and brown leather chinstrap. The interior lining bears the tailor label: 'Edward Smith, London'. The sweatband shows slight looseness on both sides but remains in good overall condition. Free from moth damage. A good sized example, approximately size 57. A desirable piece for collectors of British WWII headgear.
