USAAF AN6510-1 Seat Type Parachute – Complete with Canopy

Original WWII USAAF AN6510-1 Seat Type Parachute. This set consists of the full harness, backpad, seat pack with bungees, canopy with drogue, seat cushion and ripcord assembly. The harness is in very good used condition bar light soiling and some wear around the ripcord handle housing. This is the earlier type of harness with clips (dog-lead style) rather than the later Q/R box type. The seat-cushion is also in good condition bar light soiling, made by Julius Kayser & Co from New York, dated 1942. The pack is also by Julius Kayser & Co from New York, dated 1942, in very good condition. It contains the original packed white canopy that appears to have the rigging lines and drogue parachute canopy. We have not opened the pack, but as far as we can tell, it appears to be complete and in good condition. However, we cannot guarantee this. The assembly is complete with ripcord/handle and housing and the pack has original bungees fitted. An impressive display piece in excellent original condition.
