Description
Original era manufacture. Australian made bayonet maker marked OA (Orange Arsenal) with the crossed lines for the bending proof. Looks to have been made in 42, perhaps November (11). Australia marked on one grip plate, faint SLAZ stamping on the other. The blade is bright with scattered areas of graying but no corrosion pitting. Typical dings and dents to the wood grips, muzzle ring is bent very slightly back. Decent black leather bodied scabbard with no visible markings.
