Japanese Meiji Era Identified Hat & Thousand Stitch Belt Grouping

Original era manufacture. A great looking set consisting of a tall, 1886 enlisted hat with NCO side buttons, Thousand Stitch Belt, Talisman's & charms from the Jinja Shrine in Tokyo, sleeve rank insignia, cloth bundle with earth from the Battle of Port Arthur. Most of the items have identifying tags telling what the contents are. The hat shows some light scattered mothing, typical for hats of this era. Complete pink silk lining with nametag inside (sweatband loose on one end). Great set with lots of research potential.
