Eastern Front Medal

OriginalEastern Front Medal (Ostmedaille / Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42). This award was given to German and Axis personnel who endured the harsh winter campaign of 1941–42 on the Eastern Front. The medal retains good detail with much of its original darkened and silvered finish still visible. This example isunmarked, which was common for wartime-issued pieces. Complete with its correct period ribbon. A classic WWII German combat award and an essential addition to any medal collection.
