Original era manufacture. A wonderful quality hat featuring a directly embroidered silver wire eagle into the body of the hat. Dark blue silk band with gold wire brocade edging top and bottom. Embroidered wire oakleaves into the patent leather visor, indicating rank for Major to Colonel. No damage, light age and wear, printed makers label inside the crown.
