M31 mess kit reissued

Original German WWII M31 mess kit (Kochgeschirr 31),reissuedduring the war with period modifications typical of prolonged field use. Originally manufactured earlier in the war—often in aluminum—this example shows signs ofwartime reissue, such as repainting in a darker field grey or olive-drab tone and replacement or mixed components (e.g., steel lid with aluminum body, or vice versa). The piece retains a good amount of its reissue paint with field wear, dents, and scratches consistent with extended combat use.
