French WWI M1892 Berthier Bayonet, Modified

Original era manufacture. Second pattern bayonet with wooden grips secured by two steel rivets. The blade has been shortened and the guard cut down. Non matching serial number blade to scabbard. The blue steel scabbard has surface denting but the finish is decent. Clean bayonet.
