This paint was commonly used by U.S. paratroopers as a method of camouflaging their helmets. When the normally brownish green paint would come into contact with chemical weapons it would turn pinkish red - warning the troops of the presence of gas. Although the contents are still liquid, we can make no guarantees regarding the functionality of the paint.The can has10 5 / 42embossed on the lid, which may denote a date of1942.
