Japanese Meiji Era Infantry Haversack

Original era manufacture. Part of our recent large purchase of Meiji Era, Russo-Japanese War militaria. Heavy canvas haversack with an attached shoulder strap and brass belt securing hook. The interior has a black waterproof lining which is deteriorating a bit. However the color and canvas of the bag itself remain quite strong. Fairly scarce piece of equipment we imagine.
