German Reissue French M1866 Chassepot Bayonet

Original era manufacture. French made bayonet captured during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871 and then reissued to German Landwehr units. Clean blade made at the Mutzig aresenal in 1869. Typical steel scabbard with a German modified frog stud instead of a standing loop. German Landwehr unit marks on the crossguard.
