This is a very good functional condition Soviet Cold War era air raid siren, designed in the style of the popular Japanese WWII siren, with the two halves of the handle collapsing for easier storage. There is also a finger loop to open the shutters to louden the siren.The siren does not have any markings we can find but retains nearly all of its olive green paint and looks like new.All pieces function correctly and when set up, it is a very loud siren.
