Description
Original era manufacture. Silver washed copper medal given to those troops who participated in the Louisiana Army Maneuvers of 1941. The maneuvers were held during the months of August-September 1941 and were the largest Military Field excercise ever held in the United States, deploying nearly 500,000 troops. During the exercise 26 soldiers lost their lives through accidents. The reverse of the badge shows an old repair and the center disc displays the Lords Prayer.
