This is a German World War I frontsoldier bust in very large size.It is approximately 57 centimet4ers high and over 20 kilo's.Made of Galvanoplastic, a metalic chemical method for forming metal parts that exactly reproduce a model (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrotyping).The bust is hollow and on the lower end filled with plater, It is overall coated in a dark green paint.Due to it's size very impressive and the largest bust i've ever encountered. This would make an amazing (museum) display in any collection.Please note: It is too large and heavy for shipment. Pickup after appointment only in the Netherlands!
