British WWII Machete & Scabbard 1945

Original era manufacture. We believe this edged weapon to be British or Commonwealth design but don't know much more about it. It features a rather crude 14 inch blade with a clipped point and single edge. Clear date of 1945. A brown leather, side-opening scabbard with strap closure comes with the blade. It also is dated 1945. Normal age and wear overall.
