Japanese Pre WWII Order of the Golden Kite, 7th Class

Original era manufacture. A very fine example, displaying a pleasing silver patina and complete with its original ribbon which has faded a bit with age. The Golden Kite Order was awarded for bravery in battle and was the only Japanese order abolished by the Allies in 1945. The order is quite nice retaining some of the gilding on the Kite bird.
