US Indian Wars Army Issue Cup or Dipper

Original era manufacture. 'Oh the drums they roll upon my soul and this is the style we go, forty miles a day on beans and hay in the Regular Army-O' I can just hear the old soldiers singing this song as they drink their coffee round the campfire. Classic issue cup of the Indian and Spanish American Wars. Tinned steel with a US embossed into the top of the handle. Light surface denting, but a nice gloss to the steel with a deep patina. The bottom shows some stipled denting from perhaps nails, who knows why, no holes or perforations.
