German Pre WWI Prussian Kaiserpreis, Marksmanship Badge 1908

Original era manufacture. This attractive badge was awarded each year to one Infantry company in each Army Corps for superior marksmanship and combat readiness. It was worn on the upper right arm for one year. This example was awarded in 1908 and is of stamped and gilded brass, placed on a blue wool oval with a steel backing plate. Just a touch of oxidation on the obverse, a real beauty.
