Belgian M1868 Pioneer Bayonet, Sawback

Original era manufacture. Massive brass handled bayonet with a sawback spine. The blade is a mix of bright gray steel with cleaned corrosion and some scattered pitting, dated 1869 on one side of the ricasso. Pleasing brass patina to the hilt with an operable lock mechanisim. Scarce bayonet, I'd love to keep this one.
