German Pre WWI Prussian Postal Officials Sword, WKC

Original era manufacture. Slender, epee style blade with frosted and etched panels on each side of the polished steel blade. There are a few spots of age graying with some cleaned corrosion near the tip, overall the blade is very nice. Gilded brass guard, pommel and grip wire, now showing an even brass patina. The leather bodied scabbard has a gilded brass chape and scabbard throat. The leather body was creased slightly but remains very sound with tight stitching. The brass tip has pulled away from the end of the leather body.
