British Coldstream Guards Major Tunic, 1950's

Original era manufacture. Beautiful scarlet wool tunic with a quilted white silk lining. Heavy gold bullion wire decoration on cuffs, epauletees, tails and collar. Queens pattern crown emblem on the black wool epaulettes. Full complement of brass Coldstream Guard buttons. The crown emblem is pinned to the epaulette so the tunic may be of earlier manufacture. Just upgraded after Elizabeth II coronation. No damage, size about a 38 Long. The quality of this tunic would cost in the thousands to duplicate today.
