Original era manufacture. This is a great little lot recently purchased by a friend at a yard sale. The items represent items used by an Arizona Marine named Hance and Japanese items he returned home with at the end of WWII. The lot includes the following; Two small 10x13 inch Japanese flags, aircraft aluminum bracelet engraved with the outline of Mount Suribachi and Iwo Jima 1945, aircraft aluminum watchband with two Japanese coins mounted on each side of the dial, US WWII Japanese surrender leaflet No.706, large lot of bw photographs most appear to be movie stills from a Japanese wartime film, others are photos of pretty Japanese girls. A WWII US sewing kit, fairly complete. JQMD 1945 marked waistbelt. Leather wallet marked C.A.HANCE. M1903 & M1 Rifles Combination score book named to Hance. Pocket note book named to Hance with numerous handwritten entries regarding training and weapon instruction. Japanese Phrase Book named to Hance. Two humerous bw photos of four marines standing behind a photographers prop. Normal age and wear throughout.
