Original era manufacture. Standard pattern green cotton field cap as worn by enlisted personnel of the IJN during WWII. Major distinction with this particular example is the machine sewn, yellow embroidered cotton anchor on black, rather than green backing. This pattern is seldom encountered, unlike the much more common green backed anchor emblem. Navy acceptance stamp on the interior of the cap. Very clean, light wear. Size about a 57.
