US WWI Issue Quality M1910 Campaign Hat, Medical Corps

Original era manufacture. An issue quality hat with four lines of stitching on its edge and a tall Montana Peak. Wouldn't doubt that there are issue or contract numbers and dates stamped onto the inside of the sweatband but we don't want to risk the stitching. Two one inch slits in the brim near the body of the hat which allowed a leather chinstrap to be attached to the maroon/white Medical Corps capcord. The wear and fraying points on the cord line up fairly close to the slits in the brim. Honest old hat, about a size 7.
