US Civil War Cartridge Box Sling Eagle Breast Plate

Original era manufacture. Lead filled brass plate which was lost during the Civil War and then field recovered many decades later. Both mounting loops have rusted away, however most of the lead fill remains, the obverse show excellent detail and a nice patina.
