Japanese WWII IJN White Cotton Field Cap, Wool Anchor

Original era manufacture. We believe this to be perhaps an earlier example of the Navy field cap. Brass chinstrap securing buttons, sewn black wool anchor insignia with the issue tag stitching showing through the top of the cap. It shows a considerable amount of wear and use but tears or holes.
