French WWI Trench Art Lebel Bullet

Original era manufacture. A complete, dewat bullet with an Imperial German tunic button soldered to the side of the casing. Evidently this once served as a handle for a blade of some sort as the bullet is sliced lengthwise. Brass patina overall.
