British Pattern 1801 Baker Rifle Bayonet, Osborn Mfg

Original era manufacture. Brass handled sword bayonet which according to Kiesling's is the second pattern introduced in 1801 and issued up to 1815. 23 inch polished steel blade with a false edge on the top of the blade. Tip is slightly rounded but the blade istself is very clean. Osborn marked on the spine. Solid, Napoleonic War era British bayonet.
