British P1856/60 Snider Short Rifle Bayonet, Kirschbaum Mfg

Original era manufacture. Yataghan blade with double fullers, nearly 23 inches in length. Checkered leather grips, 3 rivets on the right side, 4 on the left. Unit markings on the guard appear to be for Royal Artillery, Kirschbaum logo on the ricasso. The blade is dark steel patina with evidence of old cleaned corrosion mostly near the tip. All steel scabbard with an oval shaped frog stud. The body is relatively dent-free but has a cleaned corrosion surface.
