Description
Early M35 helmet, started as an apple green double decal example. With the 1940 regulations the glossy apple green paint and national tricolor shield was overpainted using thick field green paint, only leaving the army decal visible. Original early aluminum single band liner sits firmly in place. The leather is perfect and shows minimal wear. It still has its full length draw string and chin strap present. Maker marked shell by Quist, size 60. Lotnumber 823. Dome stamp clearly present dated 1937. A stunning and well preserved helmet in excellent condition.
