German WWII S84/98 Bayonet, Durkopp, 1938, Matching

Original era manufacture. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 1992g, dated 38 on the spine and 1938 on the scabbard. Satin blue finished blade with finish wear near the tip and a slightly rounded point. The edge is unsharpened and there is no corrosion damage. Nice, dark plum bakelite grips showing light wear, most of the finish remains on the pommel and guard. The scabbard body is dent free and displays a rough texture, dark feldgrau camouflage paint finish.
